During rainy season we can't avoid getting wet and there are some places you can't go to specially if its flooded. Water flowing out of the canals that you don't know where it came from. It's not like the days that you can be sure that water from canals are from pure rains.
Since its rainy seasons many are discourage wearing fashionable clothes because they are afraid of getting it wet but this isn't true. Since in the past, clothes for rainy season have been invented and innovated throughout the years but not recognized by many people because of its seasonal usage. For this reason many people prefer to use jackets and sweater because they think that its for dual purposes, fashionable and "waterproof" (for a little amount of time) but speaking of practicality its not. Jackets and sweater are used for cold season, adding our body temperature enough heat.
Problems are not much a burden if you come to think of it. There are rain clothes in the market, all you need is to run your imagination and do the mix-and-match with what you have.

When it comes to foot wear there is nothing that can be compared to rubber slippers, a very basic and simple footwear that can go even in sunny hot or rainy season. Slippers is better to use if you just need to go outside to get something or go to places that are not flooded.
Low cut boots or so called "rubber shoes" by majority is a good substitute to your black leather shoes, a shoes that never gets your feet wet. It is best to use low cut boots when going to the office or going to the mall if you uncomfortable with High cut boots but this kind of boots are not recommended to use in flooded area. Low cut boots are normally in height with your ankle.
High cut boots, a boot that never fails. It is basically the ideal footwear when it comes to flood. The height of a high cut boots normally (almost ) reaches your knee making your feet dry.
Rain pants a good way to travel either by walking or riding with your bikes. Normally rain pants doesn't go with pockets and zippers, giving it a hard time (impossible) for the water to penetrate inside leaving your bottoms dry.
Rain pants normally comes with rain coats, a protection for your tops from water. They are other types of rain coat but its a good choice to wear a raincoat with same type as shown in the picture, making it for you to move comfortably.
Many men are afraid to use umbrella because of the fallacy that umbrella are for women only. Practically speaking umbrella can be added in one of rain gear fashion keeping you dry from head to the upper part of your bottoms thus leaving an impression of a manly look.
